Sir Cameron Mackintosh presents Lionel Bart's musical adaptation of Charles Dickens's classic novel Oliver Twist. The production tells the story of young orphan Oliver as he travels through the dark underbelly of London society.

“NEVER BEFORE HAS A SHOW GIVEN MORE!
Now in its 2nd record-breaking year, Oliver! is one of the most beloved British musicals, vividly bringing to life Dickens' timeless characters with its ever-popular story of the boy who asked for more.

The musical score features many famous numbers including Consider Yourself, Food Glorious Food, You've Got to Pick-a-Pocket or Two, I'd Do Anything, Oom Pah Pah, As Long As He Needs Me and It's A Fine Life.

Oliver! received its West End premiere in 1960. A Broadway production followed four years later. A new production of the show was staged in 1994 under the direction of Sam Mendes. The phenomenally popular new production is based on the 1994 adaptation and is directed by Rupert Goold, one of London's hottest properties who has staged numerous shows in  recent years, including his acclaimed production of Macbeth, that won him the 2008 Laurence Olivier Award for Best Director.

Russ Abott, one of the most popular entertainers in Britain, plays Fagin along with Broadway star Kerry Ellis as Nancy, and Steven Hartley as Bill Sikes.
